I am trying to lose tummy weight and I want to know good exercises to do that will help me lose some weight pretty fast.
Swimming is in my opinion the best cardio-vascular exercise there is!
Although the key to burning fat is basically to use your bodies energy stores but then to keep going to burn off the stored energy, which is stored as fat.
I know it doesn’t help saying this that much for everybody but burn more calories than you take in and you will burn the fat off!

I am 5’6 and 190 lbs. My goal is to tone everything up and lose at least 40 pounds and I dont have a set amount of time for when I want it to be lost. I am not sure what routine to do at the gym to start seeing results. I’ve only gone once(yesterday) so far so I don’t expect to have already seen any but what are some routines that I can do to help me start losing/toning? Thanks in advanced. 
Well it may depend on what equipment your gyms as to offer. This is the total body workout my gym suggests.
1.) Seated Chest Press, works chest
(the machine you sit down at, grip handles and push in front of you)
2 sets, 12 reps each.
2.) Lat Pulldowns, works back
(the machine you sit at and pull down a bar)
2 sets, 12 reps each.
3.) Leg Extension, works thighs
(the machine you sit at, place feet under pad and kick out legs)
2 sets, 15 reps each.
4.) Seated Leg Curl, works back of legs
(the machine you sit at, place feet over pad and curl legs down)
2 sets, 15 reps each.
5.) Arm Curl, works biceps
(can either be with free weights or a machine. Hold weight and curl arms towards chest.)
2 sets, 12 reps each.
6.) Arm Extension, works triceps
(can either be with free weights or a machine. If you using a machine it will be similar movement to arm curl. If using free weights: http://www.peterboroughrowing.ca/programs/weights/overhead_tricep_extension.gif)
7.) Stair Lift, works calves

I want to lose weight, around 20 pounds, if my only form of exercise is walking and a good healthy diet (lots of fruits and veggies) would I be able to lose the weight? I hate most forms of exercise, but I will be able to walk and keep it up.

Yes, walking briskly burns up exactly the same amount of calories as jogging (and is less damaging to the joints).
To lose weight you want to aim to burn approx. 2000 calories per week exercising – this equates to walking for 1 hour 5 times per week (or swimming for 1/2 hour 6 times per week).
Eating an awful lot of veggies (especially the green leafy ones) will really help too – more than the 5 portions per day recommended – you need to aim more for 10 to 11 portions per day of fruit & veg.

Okay, what is the single best and most effective workout or workouts for burning fat in the quickest manner? I am not concerned with nutrition advice, as I have that settled already. I just am not sure if I should do running intervals, interval training at home, jump rope, or some other form or combination, to burn fat the quickest.

Here is a home workout
Upper Body:
Push ups, start with wide stance and bring your grip closer and closer till your hans are together, this will work your shoulders (Wide Stance) chest and triceps (Close Stance) bicep and triceps (Medium Stance)
Pull ups – wrist facing away and towards you – triceps and biceps
Behind the head pull ups – bicep, triceps, mainly for your upper back, lats
Triceps Dips – triceps
You can also use a towel, have friend hold the ends of a towel, you hold the middle let him pull the towel from you and you pull it back, works your arms and back, You can use this technique for standing curls and triceps extensions.
Stomach, crunches – upper abs, side crunches – side abs, reverse crunches – lower abs, leg lifts – lower abs
Lower Body:
Lungs – works back thigh and bum
Squats – this can be done with your back against a wall, same as above
Calve Raises – for calves
60 Wide stance push ups
60 medium stance push ups
60 close stance push ups
60 Triceps Dips
60 crunches
60 side crunches
40 reverse crunches
40 leg lifts
50 Squats
50 lugs
50 calves raises
The quickest way to burn fat is to do lots and lots of running
Good target is 4.8Km (3 Miles) in 19min or under,
Extreme solution:
Running with 5 – 10 Miles (8 – 16Kms) a back pack with 40 pounds in 40 – 80Min will work wonders for fat burning
