I love to walk outside but I need an activity I can do indoors when its too cold to walk. I want to lose weight and be healthy, would Yoga be a good thing for that? I have heard it helps you lose weight, then I have heard its mostly for toning and reengerizing your mind and body. Which is it? Or does it do it all? Thanks.
Yoga is good for everything, weight loss, toning, flexibility, strength, stamina, relaxation, you name it, yoga does it.

I am probably classed as not too fit – Im not overweight as such and used to be fit but depression and anxiety really affected my ability to exercise. I want to get over this through fitness – endorphines and all that.
I just dont know how to begin to run/jog……..do I go every day, how long?, what time, how far?, what to wear? Literally I am right at the begining of this.
I know it sounds silly but I feel kind of daft running down the road! Jogger look really incontrol and have great stamina and yet I dont look like this at all!!!! – aarrrrrr!!! How do I get good?

There is a running program that can get you from running nothing to 3 miles. I believe you run 3 or 4 days a week.

It’s a great program for beginners. Not to harsh, but it gets the job done.

Im 12 almost 13 and I decided that I want to lose weight and tone my body so can make this a healthy habit! Im 134 ibs 5"2 1/2 and im a female.I want to lose 10 pounds so does anybody know any Workouts videos, Fitness routines I can do? No diets please I can’t stand them! thx

Anything I can do just myself without machines?
The best exercises for swimmers are exercises which build and strenthen their core muscles. Sit-ups, Leg lifts, crunches.

Yes it does. Alochol makes you dehydrated beyond what is normal. Your body is 80% water. You need to stay hydrated and keep your water levels up for your body to work properly and produce results for you. The way you determine how much water your body needs is simple. Take your weight and divide by two. That number is the number of ounces of water you need everyday!
