How to lose weight by exercise?

January 22nd, 2010 -- Posted in exercise to lose weight | 5 Comments »

So basically I want to lose weight – I don’t eat too much unless I’m feeling depressed or I’m stressed or bored, which is rare nowadays.
I want to lose about a stone and a half at least and what’s the best way/s to exercise to lose the weight?
The areas I’m concerned about are my stomach, thighs, arms and face/neck.
I’m 5"3 and I weight 9st 5lbs on average.
Mike, how am I emo? I am unique because I’m me – not you or anyone else? Idiot.

I would be recommend you to do slow jogging at least 2 round, 200 times sit-up which you can split up to 4 sets. Which mean 1 set you can do 50 times.

Other than that, you might need to take care of ur own food, especially at night time. Do not put in so much carbohydrate into your body as you are going to sleep after few hours of dinner.

If you are thinking of getting slim by eating Low fat food, low calories food, this might not be working out as by doing that is not helping at all. Which mean you should be doing both exercise and food control in order for you to get slim.

Previously i was very fat until i signed up with this program at http://tinyurl.com/lgxrcv

I teached me some knowledge and the ways to get rid those fat. It kind of easy to follow their steps.

Well, I hope this can help you out. All the best.

It looks like there are some neat additional places to ride around in, but they have road blocks on the trails.

Yes, just veer to the grass.

BeachBody fitness workouts?

January 22nd, 2010 -- Posted in fitness workouts | 1 Comment »

i have started this recently, along with cutting back in my diet.
i do two sessions once a day (at night)

has anyone done this?
how were the effects?
did the results please you?

Which program??? I have most of them, and do P90X myself, on occasionally I’ll do 10-minute workout. I’m a fitness trainer and gymnast, so I pick up many dvds for new ideas. Fit in 6 is fun. P90x is hardcore but flexable.

I can say that Beachbody make a quality product.

The workouts are all balanced, and presented well. What I like about them most is they really take the time to present proper form. Excessive bad form can wreck a workout, or be dangerous and many DVD’s out there don’t present or warn against bad form. Stress fractures due to bad form are probably more common then I want to know about.

Nutrition and conditioning go together like a fork and knife. If you don’t have a nutrition guide, you really need to get one. Just "Cutting back" on the wrong things may effect your performance, and you won’t build. I mean, everyone needs a solid foundation to build up. Concrete without enough cement isn’t going to be very strong. A nuitrician plan will give you receipes that make sure your muscles get the cement. Understand?

What is a good exercise program to lose weight quickly?

January 22nd, 2010 -- Posted in exercise program | 1 Comment »

I am looking for a program to lose weight. I would be a lot better at exercising if I had a plan in front of me to go by.

I would recommend the P90X or 300 workout. both of these workouts are high intensity and help you build muscle while loosing weight. once you see these or do them you can get an idea and build on to it while keeping the intensity at a high. make sure to bring Your calories down to about 20calories per body pound and eat around six meals a day.
best of luck

Are exercise DVDs a good way to lose weight?

January 18th, 2010 -- Posted in exercise to lose weight | 5 Comments »

Such as Davina’s and the like. Are they a good way to exercise and lose weight?

Yeah, actually they are. And there fun.
Rather then going to a gym where you have an audience, its nice to do it in the privacy of your own home.
Cheers
Hope this helps.

How good is wii fit as a daily aerobic fitness routine?

January 18th, 2010 -- Posted in get fit | 8 Comments »

I would like to spend a bit on home fitness. The toss up is between a wii + wii fit and a $300 treadmill. How has your experience been for aerobic routines with wii fit?

Wii Fit is a solid entry in the fitness genre for the Wii. The range of exercises, from easy to hard, can provide a framework for a daily workout routine that will pay off for players who invest in it.

Wii Fit offers four categories of exercises, including Yoga, Muscle Training, Aerobics,
Aerobics includes Hula Hoop and Basic Step, and Balance Games include Soccer Heading and Ski Slalom. The Aerobics exercises are great for consistent movement for the whole body. Hula Hoop will require players to sway their hips and catch additional hoops. Players can go on a virtual jog in Basic Run. Without the Balance Board, players simple hold or pocket the Wii Remote to jog in a beautiful landscape among Mii friends. There’s also the 2 People Run option for two-player jogs.

January 18th, 2010 -- Posted in fitness workouts | 5 Comments »

I’m 5′7, 136 lbs. 21yrs
I’m skinny but I still have extra fat and not enough muscle..
I do some weightlifting 3 nights a week, and jog every other day.
I take Whey protein after every workout.
Yet it seems that I can’t lose any of the extra fat…
My goal is to be more toned/muscular.
Please help! (perfer a fitness trainer)

I need some suggestions on shoulder exercises also.. if possible.

ok look man first of all take the protein before a workout
such as fish oil or something.
then begin for shoulder muscle
i would suggest butterflies
take to dumbells and hold them in your hand while standing up
then move both arms upwards as attempting to fly.
thank you and have a great day.
*shakes fist*

Is it true that doing group exercises at a fitness club would make me less shy?

January 18th, 2010 -- Posted in fitness exercises | 1 Comment »

My mom thinks it would.

She’s probably right.

Martial Arts or Dance Classes are likely to have the same effect, because most group activities let you see other people having fun and interacting (even ‘disciplined’ activities can be fun, if you enjoy improving your ability and learning new things). That ‘atmosphere’ makes you want to be more ‘proactive’ instead of hanging back.

A Drama group is even better for overcoming shyness, because a lot of the ‘games’ are designed to make people more confident. Even very ‘extroverted’ people can suddenly become shy when they have to perform on stage in front of an audience, so for any kind of performing arts it’s important to be able to overcome this reaction.

What is the best exercise program to get in shape for soccer?

January 18th, 2010 -- Posted in exercise program | 3 Comments »

ive heard many different programs that claim to be the best, what do i emphasis, how much of this exercise should i do, and how often should i do them?

it all depends on which position you play.

Defender(My position):Sprints and quickness training are excellent. Also work on the upper body almost as much as lower so people can’t push you around.

Midfield: i would have to say long-distance running to improve endurance. Another good exercise for a mid is the "mountain climber"

Forward: Anything to improve speed and foot control(this isnt my position at all so idk)
